If you happen to be one of the millions of sufferers of chronic illness, including inflamed digestive systems, musculoskeletal pain, lethargy, anxiety, as well as a host of other symptoms, you may feel at the end of your rope as it relates to getting relief. However, instead of turning to pharmaceutical drugs, it might be eye opening, instead, to try to understand the root of the problem and how CBD might help. In fact, what you are living through might be an indicator that you are suffering from a deficiency within your endocannabinoid system (ECS).
What is the ECS?
If you are unfamiliar with what the endocannabinoid system is and what it does, then realize you have plenty of company. The ECS is a relatively new discovery—dating back only to the late 1980s when a study was conducted at St. Louis University School of Medicine.
The ECS is a biological system that every person has inside their body. It is essentially a grid of connectors that helps an individual achieve homeostasis, otherwise known as the perfect natural balance of mental and physical abilities in response to an external or internal physiological change.
Comprised of cannabinoid receptors, endogenous cannabinoids, and enzymes, the system connects the central nervous system with the peripheral nervous system through two receptors called cannabinoid receptor 1 (CB1) and cannabinoid receptor 2 (CB2). These receptors react with endogenous compounds, which seek to correct physiological imbalances when stimulated. However, if this system is out of balance and the correct responses are not communicated, an ECS deficiency can be experienced.
What is an ECS Deficiency?
First examined by Dr. Ethan Russo in 2001, the theory surrounding ECS deficiency suggests that when proper endocannabinoids are not produced by the body, a person can experience many health issues.  And since the ECS manages multiple bodily functions, such as mood, mental clarity, sleep, and more, then the problems manifest in a chronic fashion.  Some diagnosed signs of ECS deficiency include irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), fibromyalgia, and migraines. Additionally, here are some other top signs to be aware of:
  • Poor diet: The prevalence of trans-fats and high-calorie foods can cause significant inflammation within the body and can adversely impact the ECS, thereby creating an imbalance within the gut and digestive system.  On the flip side, foods that contain omega-3 fatty acids help develop CB1 receptors—think walnuts, anchovies, flax seeds, chia seeds, and hemp seeds.
  • Stress: Living with heightened stress can lead to many harmful effects because the body reduces its levels of certain endocannabinoids, which will create unbalance in the ECS as hormones, including adrenaline and cortisol, will fluctuate wildly. This, in turn, can cause weight fluctuations, heart disease, muscle tension, anxiety, suppress the immune system, and much more.
  • Lack of sleep:  The ECS plays a part in regulating the sleep/wake cycle and if endocannabinoid receptors are being stimulated too much or too little, your ability to achieve restorative sleep can be impacted.  When you are not able to sleep well, memory, mood, weight, hormone levels, and more can be affected and tissues may be unable to repair themselves properly, leading to fatigue, chronic pain, and premature aging.
How CBD Can Help
While the idea of an ECS deficiency can be troubling to think about, realize that there is hope—and it doesn’t involve prescription drugs or expensive medical tests. The ECS can be stabilized and balanced by introducing CBD oils, tinctures, capsules, and other infused products into your approach to health and wellness.  When CBD products are combined with proper exercise, a balanced and healthy diet, understanding your family’s past medical history, and developing a healthy stress management program, your body can achieve homeostasis and the ECS deficiency could potentially be addressed.
At Asé Pure Naturals, a woman-owned organic CBD company, we only produce CBD products that are safe, nutrient rich, and taste fantastic. We are passionate about helping our customers live rich and satisfying lives by managing ECS deficiencies and other issues, including anxiety, insomnia, and more by using hemp-derived CBD products that are pure and free from contamination. What’s the difference between CBD oil and hemp oil?

With all the new hemp and CBD products entering the market, it’s no surprise that consumers are just a little bit confused about which product is best for them and, most importantly, what’s the difference between hemp products and CBD products.
After the 2018 US Farm Bill made it legal to produce goods made from hemp, including cannabidiol (CBD) products, we saw a flood of new hemp-based products entering the market, but did you know that people have been using and selling hemp products for decades?

What Is Hemp Oil?
Hemp oil has been a popular health and wellness product in specialty health stores for decades. Almost all hemp oils are made from pressing hemp seeds to extract the oil. However, it’s vital to note here that hemp seeds contain almost no cannabidiol. While hemp oil is a great carrier oil for CBD, it doesn’t naturally contain any CBD. Many people have been using hemp oil as part of their daily health and wellness routines for years now.
While hemp oil may be great for your health and wellness, unfortunately, it doesn’t contain any CBD and doesn’t boast many of the potential health and wellness benefits that CBD does.
Another thing that has recently started to happen a lot is that unscrupulous sellers are trying to pass off ‘hemp oil’ as CBD oil. One of the ways that they do this is by misleading labeling, item descriptions, and pictures. While hemp oil may offer some health and wellness benefits, it’s much cheaper to make than CBD oil, and some unscrupulous sellers are trying to cash in on the massive CBD boom that’s happening worldwide.

What Is CBD Oil or Hemp Extract?
Cannabidiol (CBD) or hemp extract is present in the leaves, stems, and flowers of hemp and marijuana plants. However, almost all CBD products are made using hemp because it contains less than 0.3% THC (the psychoactive compound which results in the euphoric high that many people experience when they use marijuana).
Worldwide, CBD oil also known as Hemp extract  is a billion-dollar industry, with hundreds of new CBD companies entering this highly competitive market every day. Research into CBD has uncovered that CBD has many potential health and wellness benefits, including use for mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
Anecdotal evidence from people worldwide also suggests that CBD oil could be beneficial for healthier skin, better sleep, boosting appetite, relaxation, and much more. Hundreds of studies currently show that CBD could be one of the most promising natural compounds globally. Still, more clinical trials are needed before we can make any definitive claims about CBD.
Many CBD oils actually use hemp oil as a carrier oil for the CBD. CBD itself only makes up a small part of the oil, with the rest being a carrier oil.

CBD Vs. Hemp Oil – Conclusion
It’s important to understand what you’re paying for and what you’re getting. With so many CBD and hemp products on the market, the easiest way to ensure that you’re getting a premium product and also getting what you’re paying for is to deal with a responsible company that specializes in CBD and hemp products.
If you would like to learn more about CBD or hemp products, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Asé Pure Naturals.

Does Taste Matter When It Comes to CBD?

There is a lot written these days about how to “mask the taste of CBD” and make it taste better. Here at Asé Pure Naturals, we feel like it is a bit counterproductive to add extensive and unnatural additives just to disguise the way CBD tastes. Rather, we believe that if you are considering using a CBD tincture to improve your approach to health and wellness, you should enjoy the way it tastes while also receiving a pure and organic product—and that is what we have created at our company.

If You Don’t Like the Taste, You Aren’t Going to Use It
There is a simple truth at play here—namely, if you don’t like the way something tastes, you likely are not going to use it in the long term.  This is especially true when shopping for a CBD oil tincture.  There are so many options here, both flavored and unflavored, that it can be easy to get confused (just a point of note, unflavored CBD oil isn’t actually unflavored, it tastes “earthy” like cannabis, which can be off putting to some users).
The thing that is also important is not all CBD oils are created equal, either. And depending on the extraction process that is used by a CBD manufacturer, the soil the plant is grown in, as well as many other factors, ultimately, the taste of the final product can be impacted—for the better or worse.

The Asé Pure Naturals Difference
As our company has been created and developed by health and wellness entrepreneur, Heather Jacoby, it is important to understand that great importance was placed on ensuring that the products are not only natural, organic, and pure, but also that they are pleasing to the palate.
Recognized as one of the best-testing hemp extract products on the market, Heather literally flew to Colorado as she engaged in product development, just because it was so important to maintain quality from beginning to end. She tested the soil herself and made certain the hemp that was sourced from U.S.-based organic farms was the purest available and grown from custom, proprietary strains.

What’s more is that Heather even worked one-on-one with a chemist whose specialty was CBD in order to create the flavor profile—having to source an organic monk fruit as well as organic peppermint in the process.
The development of the flavor profile took approximately four months in total, and the result is a refreshing, light, and tasty peppermint flavor that does not leave behind an aftertaste and could even improve one’s breath just like leading brands of gum.

Asé Pure Naturals products are also 100% natural, non-GMO, gluten-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and made with all organic ingredients in a CGMP facility. They contain coconut MCT oil, hemp oil, sunflower Lecithin, and of course, the organic peppermint and monk fruit.

At the end of the day, taste matters as does quality. No one wants to put anything in their body that is made from less than exceptional ingredients, and that is exactly what we have committed to at Asé Pure Naturals. Visit our site today and learn all about our values and our passion for helping our customers realize the best in health and wellness.

Should Seniors Use CBD?

As CBD products become more commonplace in all areas of our country—and while the focus on improving and protecting health as the COVID-19 pandemic continues on grows ever more urgent—there is a great amount of interest in the effects of CBD on senior citizens’ health. After all, CBD delivers all of the benefits of marijuana, but without getting a user “high.” This can be quite welcoming to seniors who want to realize the perks associated with CBD, but who do not want to impair their judgment or motor function.
Improving Seniors’ Quality of Life
Firstly, CBD could help seniors mitigate use or significantly reduce their need to take prescription drugs or painkillers that could be potentially addictive or harmful in the long term. Furthermore, CBD may help treat some age-related diseases.
In this article, we have compiled a few reasons why senior citizens may want to learn more about incorporating CBD products into their health and wellness routine.
  • CBD can promote bone health. Some studies show that because of its anti-inflammatory properties, CBD could be useful in supporting and maintaining bones and preventing bone fragility, which can lead to fractures and sprains.
  • CBD could fight free radicals, boost energy, and enhance cell life. Because CBD is an antioxidant, seniors who use these products could curb the presence of free radicals and promote a sense of ease, calm, and balance. Studies show that CBD even has stronger antioxidant properties than Vitamins E and C.
  • CBD helps balance the sleep/wake cycle. As one ages, it can become more difficult to achieve periods of sustained, deep sleep. However, a healthy sleep process is key to brain regeneration, and health and sleep quality is important in the prevention of age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and glaucoma. Because of this, elderly individuals are often prescribed sleeping pills, which can be addictive and dangerous. As such, CBD could provide an alternative as these products can regulate the sleep/wake cycle and promote the production and regulation of melatonin, a natural hormone that ensures a balanced circadian rhythm.
  • CBD could stimulate one’s appetite. Another issue regularly experienced by seniors is loss of appetite, which can lead to problems with energy, weight loss, mental issues, and malnutrition. CBD can stimulate the appetite, help with digestive processes, and allow a user better absorb key nutrients from food.
  • CBD can fend off depression and anxiety. Let’s face it, getting old can be hard and may lead to a person experiencing sadness and depression over lost loved ones, changes in mobility, and missing family, friends, or past traditions. However, CBD is a proven mood booster and can offer antidepressant and antianxiety effects to a user, allowing one to better manage emotions, mood, and mental outlook.
There are myriad benefits to implementing CBD in a senior citizen’s health and wellness regimen. However, the team at Asé Pure Naturals also encourages you to speak with your doctor before trying a CBD product or replacing a needed medication or prescription with a CBD tincture, edible, or other product. Of course, it is also important to do thorough research and make sure any CBD product you are purchasing is of the highest quality, organic, made through responsible and sustainable farming and manufacturing processes, and totally pure.
Here at Asé Pure Naturals, we provide our customers, including senior citizens, with the best possible hemp-derived CBD products that are 100% natural, gluten-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and non-GMO. Plus, all of our hemp is grown and manufactured in the United States and we are a member in good standing of the Hemp Industries Association. We would love to help you identify the best CBD products to help you age gracefully and in a healthy way. Reach out to us today.

How Does CBD Affect Your Hormones?

Cannabidiol—also known as CBD—is one of the primary compounds found in hemp and cannabis plants. And it’s a well-known fact that CBD has been receiving much attention in recent years for the benefits it can provide when helping people achieve holistic health and wellness.
In this article, we will examine how CBD can impact the endocrine system and aid in the production of hormones, including cortisol, insulin, and melatonin.

Understanding the Endocrine System and Hormones
Firstly, before we get into how CBD directly effects hormones, let’s ensure we have an understanding of what hormones are, what exactly the endocrine system is, and how they relate to each other.
In its most simple definition, hormones are chemical messengers that are involved in many bodily processes, including metabolism, appetite, reproduction, sexual function, growth and development, mood, and more.
The endocrine system, then, is comprised of many different types of glands, which produce hormones. The system includes one’s thyroid, pineal gland, pancreas, and others. Ultimately, the hormones produced by these glands are powerful and can have great impacts on how your body functions.
How Does CBD Affect Hormones?
CBD interacts with the body’s natural endocannabinoid system (ECS), which is a complex system that manages physiological processes that are central to achieving homeostasis—or balance. This includes mood, appetite, etc.  Additionally, studies show that the endocannabinoid system plays a key role in endocrine system processes. The ECS activates receptors in the body and brain that influences thyroid, pineal, and pituitary gland activities.  So, by stimulating the ECS with CBD, hormone levels in the body are directly impacted. Consider the following:
  • Cortisol: This hormone manages your body’s stress response, metabolism, memory, and even the healing of wounds. It is produced in the adrenal gland and is vital to human survival over the ages as it mediates our very natural “fight or flight response.” However, when cortisol levels are increased, one may experience weight gain, anxiety, and mood swings.   Therefore, it is believed that CBD may interfere with cortisol secretion in the body, dropping these heightened levels significantly.
  • Insulin: Produced in the pancreas, insulin helps your body absorb and store nutrients found in food.  Ultimately, without insulin, sugar is not able to pass from your bloodstream into individual cells and this can have a detrimental impact on your health, including diabetes. While further study is needed on CBD’s impact on insulin, there is some evidence that CBD could help with improving the functioning of the pancreas, which is key to maintaining steady insulin production, stabilizing blood sugar levels, and more.
  • Melatonin: Sleep is key to realizing good health—and the endocrine system is very much involved in regulating sleep/wake cycles and managing energy levels. Melatonin, produced in the pineal gland of the brain, is one of the most important hormones in this regard. By stabilizing and improving melatonin levels throughout the day, one’s body is able to achieve a balanced circadian rhythm, meaning you get the sleep you need at night and have the energy you require during the day to go to work, take care of your family, and fulfill your responsibilities.
These are just a few ways that CBD products can regulate your body’s hormones and bring a feeling of balance to one’s life. Here at Asé Pure Naturals, we are proud of our company’s premium CBD oil tinctures, topicals, and softgels that are available in both full and broad spectrum. All of our products are organic, pure, and sourced with no compromises so you can rest assured that our hemp extracts contain everything they should and nothing they shouldn’t. CBD and Meditation: Can it Enhance Your Practice?

CBD and Meditation
Meditation is a popular practice amongst people who are looking to achieve better balance in their lives, realize a lasting sense of calm and self-awareness, and generate greater mindfulness while living in the present. While something can be said for the dedication and focus that goes into consistent meditation practice, many experts are claiming that cannabidiol (CBD) is a perfect companion and can help those who meditate attain a calmer state of mind easier and more efficiently.

CBD Lessens Anxiety

When entering a meditative state or beginning a guided meditation, a person can sometimes feel distracted or anxious as they seek to quiet their thoughts and realize an inner focus. Here, CBD can help. Because of its antianxiety qualities, a user can realize a calmer mind as they enter into a meditation. Take into mind that in order for this approach to work well, consider taking a dose of CBD 15-30 minutes prior to beginning your meditation.

CBD Improves Concentration

Another factor to consider is that CBD may also help a user feel less fidgety and more focused on what they are doing, which can make the meditation experience more positive and fulfilling.  This could be a huge benefit for beginners to meditation or when you are looking to extend your practice from an initial 10 or 15 minutes to an extended practice time. Ultimately CBD has been shown to improve concentration and help you broaden your attention span. When coupled with meditation, it is possible that you may be able to resist random thoughts from popping into your mind as well as sit for a longer time without feeling distracted.

CBD Stabilizes Your Mood

Another perk to incorporating CBD into your meditation practice? The fact that you may be able to experience greater peace of mind.  Meditation, after all, is about helping you feel rested, positive, and balanced. CBD oil, as we noted, can help decrease anxiety and provide you with feelings of calm. And this is related to what CBD does inside your brain—it improves the production of serotonin.  If you are able to meditate while also being in a positive frame of mind, your mindfulness practice will be that much more rewarding.

CBD Lessens Pain

Meditation is often used by individuals who experience chronic pain; therefore, combining your practice with CBD could further lessen pain and inflammation. Plus, CBD could also make it more comfortable for you to sit still, maintain a good posture, and relax your muscles during practice, thereby alleviating further tension and helping you get more out of your meditation session.

If you are thinking of incorporating CBD into your meditation practice, make sure you work on your dosage beforehand so you know how much CBD you need in order to get the full effect. Consider taking a CBD oil or edible orally. This can be done via a dropper or even by adding it to tea or a smoothie. Of course, topical forms of CBD can also be applied to certain areas of your body prior to practice.

No matter how you choose to employ CBD in your practice, the team at Asé Pure Naturals feels confident that CBD’s potential homeopathic stress-relieving effects will perfectly complement your meditation, helping you better find your Zen.
For more information about how Asé Pure Natural’s premium products are incorporated with a variety of meditation, yoga, massage, and other therapeutic practices, reach out to our team today.

Can CBD Cause Medical Interactions with Prescription Drugs?

3/1/2021

Several forms of CBD bottle on a countertop. Our product line has expanded recently to include Muscle Gel and Softgels, too!

In recent years, much has been researched and written about CBD’s role in managing pain, anxiety, depression, and other types of conditions—and products that include oil, pills, gummies, tinctures, and more have absolutely flooded the market.

CBD products are seemingly everywhere—and because of this accessibility, many people who suffer from a variety of health conditions have begun to inquire about how CBD could help them, and if these products present the potential of interacting with existing prescription drugs and other medications.  In this blog, we will explore the subject and expand your education.

How CBD Interacts with Your Body

CBD is a cannabinoid, and it’s the primary ingredient in hemp, which is just one type of cannabis plant and separate from the marijuana plant. We note this right off the bat so you understand that CBD will not get you “high.” However, CBD interacts with your body in a different way. Namely, it connects with cannabinoid receptors and could result in effects that are welcome to sufferers of arthritis, joint pain, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and much more.

To back this up, research was presented at the 2019 Annual European Congress of Rheumatology that noted 52 percent of individuals reported trying CBD for medical reasons and 93 percent noted it helped with their condition.  Many stated that they would have welcomed more information and input from their doctor, but that their physicians were not able to comment in whole because of the fact that information is still emerging about CBD and its effects.

In this regard, two physicians were consulted; Nina M. Bembed, PharmD, BCPS—a specialist in drug interactions—and Rachna Patel, DO—a doctor who consults on medical marijuana and CBD.

Can Drug Interactions Happen With CBD?

There are a large number of medications that are broken down by enzymes found in one’s liver.  Called CYP450, this enzyme has an impact on CBD; however, CBD can also inhibit some enzymes in this family, meaning a drug will be broken down slower, thereby enhancing the effects on a person’s body unless dosage is adjusted.  At the same time, CBD can also induce the breakdown of other enzymes in this family, meaning that a drug’s effects would be lessened because it is metabolized faster—again, unless dosage is increased.

For example, some enhanced side effects may be experienced if you take any of these drugs in addition to CBD:

  • Prozac (aka fluoxetine)
  • Antipsychotics
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Erythromycin
  • Clarithromycin
  • Heart medications, including calcium channel blockers

The most direct information comes from studies related to the only FDA-approved CBD product, a medication called Epidiolex, which treats rare forms of epilepsy.  When combined with CBD, Epidolex has been found to increase blood levels of the blood thinner warfarin by about 30%.  If you have been prescribed Epidiolex, be sure to consult with your physician prior to using any CBD product.

What About Interactions with NSAIDs?

While CBD can interact with some drugs, the good news is that because of the way it is metabolized, it is not likely to interact negatively with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.  This includes many arthritis or joint pain medications.  However, again, before embarking upon using CBD for the first time, consult with your doctor. Additionally, if you are on an NSAID for pain relief or treating inflammation, and want to take CBD as well, make sure your doctor performs regular liver tests to ensure your levels stay normal.

In closing, CBD products are generally very safe to use—and most people only stand to benefit from them.  However, if you do have major underlying health concerns or are on a cocktail of varied medications and prescriptions, it is always wise to consult with your doctor first before starting on any CBD product. Ultimately, taking the time for this consultation is only likely to improve your experience and the results you get from a high-quality CBD product.

Overcoming Insomnia with CBD

2/23/2021

Two CBD bottles resting atop a white sheet.CBD may help users fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer!

There is almost nothing worse than laying in bed at night, staring at the ceiling, unable to get to sleep. Insomnia is a reality that plagues far too many people, and unfortunately, the majority of its treatment methods require pill popping and potentially addictive prescription drugs that can cause other health problems and disrupt REM sleep cycles.

However, today there is hope for sufferers of insomnia! Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, has the potential of interacting with your body’s naturally occurring endocannabinoid system, promote a state of balance, and allow you to achieve homeostasis, both during waking—and sleeping—hours.

CBD May Help You Sleep

While CBD products have gained in popularity in recent years, there is still much research that needs to be completed in order for CBD to be fully endorsed and welcomed by the medical community. At the same time, the studies that have been completed show that CBD is a safe and natural way to treat sleeplessness and insomnia as opposed to using pills like Ambien or other pharmaceutical sleep aids.

Before we get into how CBD improves sleep, let’s first talk about the causes behind poor sleep and disrupted sleep cycles.
According to the Mayo Clinic, insomnia and disrupted sleep can be caused by:

  • Anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health conditions
  • Medication that impacts a person’s sleep/wake cycle
  • Chronic pain and inflammation
  • Caffeine, especially when overconsumed during the day and into the evening
  • Worry and stress caused by personal and professional issues
  • External factors, including noise, a low-quality sleep surface, blue light, etc.

What the Research Says

There have been multiple studies conducted in the past several years that sought out to prove how CBD can help treat conditions such as anxiety and insomnia.  In 2019, a study was completed that showed 79.2% of study participants reported lower anxiety levels after being treated with 25mg of CBD each day.  Furthermore, 66.7% reported sleeping better with the same daily dosage.

Another study, focused on patients presenting with Parkinson’s disease found that REM sleep was improved alongside minimizing the impact of REM sleep behavior disorder, the presence of nightmares, and the daytime issues experienced when one sleeps poorly at night.

Finally, symptoms of insomnia, including grogginess, were minimized through the use of CBD and also showed the potential to promote wakefulness and alertness.

How CBD Works in Promoting Sleep

CBD doesn’t simply treat the symptoms of insomnia, the way that many over-the-counter medications and prescription drugs do. Instead, it tackles the reason you are not sleeping, namely, the issues with your personal biology that are causing you to remain up and sleepless at night. CBD works at the heart of your body’s systems and promotes balance within your sleep/wake cycle so you can truly achieve homeostasis and feel your best both when you are supposed to be awake—as well as when you are meant to be catching those needed Z’s so you can live your best life.

For an added benefit and reassurance that the CBD product you are taking is truly going to help, consider looking into oils, tinctures, and gummies that also incorporate melatonin, another natural sleep aid. This will boost your chances of receiving the full benefit.

For more information about how CBD products can promote healthy living and well-regulated sleep/wake cycles, visit Asé Pure Naturals and learn about our premium CBD oils, tinctures, and more. Our team is ready to assist you in achieving all of your natural health goals.

Is Cannabis an Aphrodisiac?

2/8/2021

A beautiful woman in a red coat holds a CBD bottle before a scenic backdrop.Cannabis might help make your special romantic day even better!

There is no denying that our culture—and our society as a whole—is somewhat Puritanical in nature. Many of us were taught as children—whether in our home life, in our church, or in a combination of factors—that pleasure is gluttonous. However, as times have progressed, it’s true that viewpoints and thinking have morphed and people have realized that life is short, and thus, should be enjoyed. Such is true when considering the intersection of cannabis and sex.

Cannabis & Tantra: A Thought-Provoking History

While the United States does have a history that has foundations in Evangelism and Puritanism, and legislation regarding the growing and use of cannabis is stricter in some states when compared to others, there are still many in this country who are interested in pushing the limits of cannabis—and how it can be used as an aphrodisiac.

Going all the way back to the 2nd century, cannabis was used in Tantric rituals in both Buddhism and Hinduism, which have begun to be emulated the world over in the form of cannabis sex clubs and over-the-counter aphrodisiac products that are sold in many states. However, while this trend continues to grow, and ancient uses of cannabis continue to be explored, the question must be asked: How exactly is cannabis an aphrodisiac?

A Stimulant for the Libido

Cannabis has been proven to be an effective stimulant for people of both genders—and studies confirm this outside of its use throughout history alone. However, finding an effective strain to exactly fit your own individual desires and needs is a bit trickier.

Each person has an endocannabinoid system, which is naturally occurring in our biology. It is a system of neurotransmitters that have the potential to bind to cannabinoid receptors and result in producing the effects of cannabis—but this is different from person to person. After all, human sexuality is complicated.

Consider the following:

  • People who “like it rough” may seek out a cannabis topical to help with pain.
  • Some individuals may prefer a heightened emotional connection with their partner and seek out a gummy, for instance, to enhance their sex life.
  • Others still, might look for an oil or a rub to amplify physical touch while remaining in the moment.

Because sexual experiences are so personal, it is important to find a cannabis product that is right for your individual genetic makeup and preferences. This can ultimately mean some trial and error is going to be present until one is able to locate their “sweet spot.”

Thankfully, cannabis, as well as CBD products, are safe and experimentation is welcomed when exploring varied cannabinoid profiles as well as the method of delivery. While some people might enjoy popping an edible and experiencing its effects, others may like a topical or a tincture based on whether they are seeking an energizing and euphoric experience or a relaxing and sedative one.

How Cannabis or CBD Can Bring Pleasure

When implementing cannabis or CBD as an aphrodisiac, it is possible to realize a variety of effects, including:

  • Reduction of pain or inflammation without overly numbing a sensitive area of the body.
  • Increased blood flow, which can enhance orgasms.
  • Feelings of relaxation and enjoyment, which can dampen feelings of nervousness or embarrassment and enable a person to “let go.”
  • Sensations of enjoyment and exploration, helping one find their pleasure and get in touch with themselves and their body.

Dispelling Sex Negativity

Sex, as a whole, is a beautiful, natural, and normal thing when approached by consenting adults. And as our society begins to learn more about cannabis and CBD and eliminate the stigma that has long been associated with it, then we are not only going to learn more about how it can enhance the sexual experience, but also open up study regarding its variety of uses.
At the end of the day, humans have been experimenting with plant medicine for centuries—both in and outside of the bedroom.

Oue team at Asé Pure Naturals believes this is only likely to continue. We are committed to continuing to learn more about the role CBD and cannabis play on our endocannabinoid systems and will evolve our products to help the customers we serve in myriad ways. What’s the Difference Between THC & CBD?

2/1/2021

Two CBD bottles rest atop a table among rays of sunshine.CBD & THC are different compounds with different effects.

Hemp and other cannabis products continue to become more mainstream, and legal acceptance of these goods is growing across the country. However, some confusion still remains amongst consumer groups as they consider their options.

Much of this confusion stems around what makes cannabidiol (CBD) different from tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).  Both of these compounds are naturally occurring in Cannabis genus plants—however, to that point, they are still different.

THC vs. CBD: The Facts

Both hemp (which is where CBD is derived from) and THC come from the Cannabis sativa plant. However, when examined as components of CBD products, there are some things to be aware of.

Let’s start first with THC, since this is a primary concern for many CBD shoppers. THC is the compound in the cannabis plant that is ultimately psychoactive in nature—it is what will make you feel “high.”  It is found in many oils, edibles, capsules, tinctures, and more; plus, you can ingest it by smoking cannabis—also known as marijuana.

On the other hand, in order to be legal, hemp must contain 0.3% or less of THC.  In this regard, CBD products are also sold in varied forms, including supplements, capsules, gummies, oils, and more.

At the end of the day, both THC and CBD will interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system—but the effects they have are intensely different.

Their Chemical Structures

Pertaining to the molecular structure of THC and CBD, both have 21 carbon atoms, 30 hydrogen atoms, and 2 oxygen atoms. But how the atoms are arranged in the compounds is what makes them have different effects when consumed.

And what needs to be discussed more is how they interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system. Both THC and CBD are chemically similar to the endocannabinoids that occur in the body naturally. THC and CBD will interact with that system and this triggers the release of neurotransmitters that are found in the brain.

These neurotransmitters are actually chemicals, and they are key in messaging between the body’s cells. They play an important role in managing pain, triggering immune function, dealing with stress, promoting sleep, and more.

Their Legality

In the United States especially, laws regarding cannabis usage (both of products containing THC and CBD) are quickly evolving.  Currently, hemp has been removed from the Controlled Substances Act and certain states, including the District of Columbia, have made medical cannabis containing high levels of THC legal. Recreational use has also been approved in some states.  Of course, before you use either CBD or THC products, we encourage you to research your state’s laws.

The Medical Benefits

Now, here comes the especially important part. CBD and THC have many of the same medical benefits. However, the one big difference is that when you use a CBD product, you will not experience the high or euphoria experienced when you use THC.  Because of this reason (along with issues pertaining to legality, drug testing, and more with THC), many people choose CBD products over THC.

CBD has the potential ability to treat conditions that include:
  • Inflammation
  • Anxiety
  • Stress
  • Migraine
  • Depression
  • Pain
  • Seizures
  • Digestive Issues

THC, on the other hand, can be used to help with the following, in addition to many of the conditions we mentioned above:
  • Glaucoma
  • Muscle spasms
  • Pain and nausea associated with cancer treatment/chemotherapy
  • Low appetite

And on To Drug Testing

Finally, let’s talk about the final elephant in the room—and it’s straightforward.  THC will show up on a drug test. CBD (so long as the hemp-derived product contains under 0.3% of THC) will not show up on a drug test (or is unlikely to).

The Takeaway

While similar in nature, CBD and THC are still vastly different—especially when considering that CBD will allow you to realize many of the same potential medical and health benefits, but without experiencing the high.

At Asé Pure Naturals, our CBD oils and other products contain under 0.3% THC, meaning they are good for your overall wellbeing and health, but will not impact the results of a drug test, impair your judgment, or have you in worried about being in jeopardy of the law. We would love to speak with you about our products and their benefits more. As such, we invite you to reach out to a member of our team.

Using CBD Oil for Anxiety & Depression

1/8/2021

Picture

As the COVID-19 pandemic has raged, anxiety and depression has soared amongst members of the populace.  Economic uncertainty, school and business closures, isolation from friends and family, and grief have been some of the primary factors as to why mental health conditions have surged, and why many people today are seeking treatment.

However, while many are looking to address their anxiety and depression, there is a singular focus on keeping the solution natural and eliminating the need for pharmaceutical options.

And that is where CBD oil could play a central role.

Cannabidiol, also known as CBD, has gained massive popularity since the onset of the pandemic.  Presenting the potential of impacting one’s health, initial study results focused on CBD’s role in managing and mitigating anxiety and depression have been promising.

How Could CBD Help?

CBD is hemp-derived and comes from the Cannabis sativa plant.  It is one of hundreds of compounds in this plant and has the potential to interact with targeted cannabinoid receptors in the brain, called the endocannabinoid system, which can manage and regulate anxiety.

In a 2015 study, it was found that CBD specifically targets the CB1 receptor in the brain.  This is the Serotonin 5-HT1A receptor and is key in regulating fear, mood, and anxiety. (When low levels of this particular chemical are present in the brain, an individual’s risk of depression, anxiety, and sleep problems could arise.)

Per the referenced study, the authors noted both preclinical as well as clinical evidence that showed that CBD could help treat the following disorders:

  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Depression
  • Panic Disorder
  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
  • Social Anxiety Disorder

What are CBD’s Benefits When Compared to Pharmaceuticals?

If you prefer a natural approach to treating anxiety or depression and want to stay away from prescription drugs, know that you are not alone. Much of the appeal of CBD products is that they are based in nature. What’s more is that hemp plants have a long history of being used to treat a variety of conditions throughout the ages.

Firstly, all antidepressants and antianxiety medicines require a formal diagnosis and a prescription from a doctor. Secondly, most antidepressants and antianxiety medicines take weeks to begin working.  According to a 2019 study, CBD products allow for a quick and sustained response when treating anxiety and depression.

Moreover, CBD also has not shown the side effects presented by many medications. For instance, some medications can result in insomnia, sexual dysfunction, agitation, mood swings, and even addiction. As a natural product, CBD oil does not pose these risks.

Of course, if you are suffering from anxiety or depression, we encourage you to first speak with your doctor to ensure you are pursuing a treatment method that is right and safe for you.

In closing, the team at Asé Pure Naturals stands by our premium CBD tinctures and believes in the benefits that these exciting products can potentially present. For more information, we welcome you to browse our site and learn all about our manufacturing process and our commitment to quality.

Has the COVID-19 pandemic left you dealing with anxiety and depression?  Learn how Asé Pure Naturals CBD oil could help you alleviate your symptoms.

Cannabis Flavonoid Could Help Treat Pancreatic Cancer

12/14/2020

Every day it seems that we’re learning more about the different compounds inside cannabis and what makes them so unique.

As the popularity of cannabis increases worldwide, so too does the amount of research time scientists spend trying to unlock all of its secrets.

For the last hundred years or so, cannabis was looked down on as a narcotic with very little therapeutic value, but that’s all changed in the last decade as countries around the world start taking a proactive approach to this natural compound.

One study that has gotten many people talking recently concluded that a non-cannabinoid, non-psychotropic flavonoid, FBL-03G, could have the potential to treat pancreatic cancer. The study was conducted by researchers at Harvard Medical School and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

The study utilized animal models to assess the impact of FBL-03G, a flavonoid that is derived from cannabis sativa, on the progression of tumors. The researchers looked at FBL-03G’s ability to reduce the size of tumors in conjunction with other traditional cancer treatments, including radiation.

Researches used a combination of different treatments using FBL-03G as an immunoadjuvant; in vitro studies were carried out with and without the assistance of radiotherapy. The FBL-03G flavonoid was delivered utilizing smart radiotherapy biomaterials.

Currently, on average, 60,000 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every year in the United States. The survival rate for people that are unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer is approximately five years. The traditional treatment for pancreatic cancer includes chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and surgery, but due to pancreatic cancer’s aggressive nature, all options have limited success.

What Are Cannabis Flavonoids?

Flavonoids are found in a variety of different plants, vegetables, and fruits. The flavonoids that are exclusive to cannabis are known as cannaflavins. They assist the plant in attracting birds, insects, and bees that enable the plant to pollinate while protecting the plant from disease and other insects that may attack it. We’re learning more about flavonoids and the other compounds which make up the cannabis plant every day but much more research is needed before we unlock the full potential of cannabis.

Cannabis Flavonoids Conclusion

The study, which was published in Frontiers of Oncology, involved conducting repeated experiments which showed that many animals had an increased survival rate from pancreatic cancer compared to the animals in the control groups.

A statement by the people conducting the study stated, “While ongoing studies are in progress to address the specific mechanism for this immunotherapy potential of this cannabis derivative, the possibility of leveraging such a therapy approach to treat metastasis or increase survival is significant, given that most pancreatic cancer patients are diagnosed already with metastatic disease, with limited treatment options.”

“The results highlight the potential of using non-cannabinoid, non-psychoactive derivatives of cannabis for such treatment. Further work to optimize therapeutic efficacy for such cannabis derivatives and evaluate toxicity could set the stage for clinical translation.”

“The FBL-03G results reveal a new potential non-cannabinoid cannabis derivative with major potential for consideration in further investigations in the treatment of pancreatic cancer, where new therapy options are urgently needed.”

While these initial results are encouraging, researchers still have a long way to go before they fully understand cannabis and the compounds which make up this plant. If you’re currently taking any medication and considering trying cannabis, always speak to your doctor or healthcare provider first as cannabis can interfere with how our bodies process some medication.

Here’s Why CBD Oil Could Be the Key to Improving Your Focus

12/1/2020

A woman seated at her desk stares intensely at the screen of her laptop computer.Improved focus is just one of the many potential benefits of regular CBD use.

There is no denying there is a lot of buzz these days about CBD products, especially CBD oil—and at the same time, there are a lot of big promises and expectations being made.

Ultimately, yes, CBD oil does present the potential for some significant health and wellness benefits, specifically in the area of improving one’s focus.

However, in order to truly get the most out of a CBD oil product, it is necessary to understand what you can realistically expect from using it.

Understanding the Science

CBD is an acronym for Cannabidiol.  Found in cannabis plants, cannabinoids are one active component that supports the functions of a person’s endocannabinoid system.  What this system does, in turn, is help regulate other body systems through the control of chemical and neurologic stimulus.  So, it is here where the science behind whether or not CBD oil can help improve focus lies.

This compound—cannabinoids—ultimately enable more serotonin to flow to the brain. This offers a mild sedative to the receptor associated most commonly with sleep, addiction, and anxiety.   When this receptor is “calmed” per se, the CBD oil user could feel more alert, be less impacted by distractions, and experience a sharper mind.

Supporting a Key Body Regulatory System

When the endocannabinoid system is properly supported through the use of CBD oil, here are some of the focus-related benefits you could experience:

  • Feelings of positivity: When you enhance your focus, you could feel more confident in your day-to-day actions and decision-making abilities, leading to a more optimistic outlook on life.
  • A reduction in anxious thoughts: When the receptor associated with anxiety is muted, a person is better able to harness their “what if” thinking processes and control errant and unproductive anxiety, allowing one to better focus on the task at hand.
  • Feeling alert—without the jitters: Sometimes when a person needs to boost their “alertness” they automatically turn to coffee or an energy drink, which can produce jittery feelings and an eventual crash. CBD oil has the potential to improve focus without the big ups or downs.

Find a CBD Product Right for You

At the end of the day, every person is different. You may want to improve your focus to enhance your ability to study—or you may be searching for a way to stay on task at work and get more done. CBD oil or another CBD product could offer a solution.

Here at Asé Pure Naturals, we offer premium CBD oil tinctures and soft gels in a variety of strengths.  All of our products are 100% natural, non-GMO, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and grown and made in the USA.  We invite you to learn more and understand how CBD oil might be the key in helping you live a more productive life by visiting www.asepurenaturals.com.

CBD and Your Skin: What are the Benefits?

11/16/2020

A woman uses CBD muscle gel to relieve achy muscles.Better skin is just one of the many ways CBD can improve health.

There is a lot of buzz about all of the potential benefits that CBD oil, gummies, and other products can have on a person’s health and wellbeing. Right now, much of the focus centers on improving one’s mood and possibly reducing anxiety.

So with that in mind, we want to highlight another potential perk—that of CBD and the impact it can make on your skin.

Putting the Spotlight on Your Skin

Cannabidiol (CBD) is derived from the cannabis plant and is put into a variety of products to potentially treat many conditions.

The reason that CBD oils, balms, and lotions can help with relieving common skin issues is because CBD contains calming properties that can reduce inflammation and boost nutrients.

Plus, because CBD isn’t likely to produce any negative side effects, it is great for all skin types, meaning that even if you have sensitive skin, you will likely benefit from using CBD to treat acne, eczema, and psoriasis. It is a healing cannabinoid, and there are many holistic benefits that can be experienced if you use CBD topically, meaning you put it directly on your skin.

Do Doctors Recommend CBD for the Skin?

It must be stated that while some of the research related to CBD’s effects on the skin is currently limited, it has been deemed safe to use topically and many board-certified dermatologists endorse this. Dr. Adarsh Mudgil, a double board-certified dermatologist and founder of Mudgil Dermatology noted, “There is likely no harm in continuing to use a CBD-infused product you like. If you happen to have a reaction from a CBD topical product, it’s likely not from the CBD itself, but some other ingredient like a botanical.”

Ultimately, using CBD on the skin can help with inflammation while also improving hydration and decreasing skin dryness. Furthermore, it can serve to protect against and minimize free radical damage that occurs through exposure to pollutants, UV rays, and other toxins.

How Do I Decide on a CBD Skincare Product?

Now, if you find yourself intrigued by the potential benefits CBD could have on your skin, but you feel completely overwhelmed by the sheer number of options, the team at Asé Pure Naturals encourages you to take a deep breath. Our advice to you is to focus on quality. Look for products that mention “cannabidiol,” “broad spectrum CBD,” and “full-spectrum CBD.” Additionally, look at the manufacturing and extraction process that the product goes through.

You want to ensure that what it says on the label is actually what you are getting, so before you purchase, ensure the company you are thinking of buying from publishes their 3rd party test results—this will give you peace of mind related to quality and potency.

Here at Asé Pure Naturals, we are passionate about our products and the impact they potentially could have on your health and wellness. Please reach out to our team directly using the contact form at asepurenaturals.com for more information about how our CBD products could help you.

To great skin health and beyond,

Organic CBD Oil: Does it Really Matter if it’s Organic?

11/3/2020

Several bottles of organic CBD products sitting atop a shelf.CBD softgels are among some of our newest products!

In our society, there is a heightened focus on health and wellness, and each of us wants to ensure that the food we eat and the products we use on our bodies are safe, are manufactured through high-quality processes, and are non-toxic—just to name a few key points. Therefore, if you have been doing your research on CBD oil and other Cannabidiol products, it is likely the organic vs. non-organic argument is on your radar. Here is a brief overview of why you should be opting for the former over the latter.

Breaking Down the Importance of Organic CBD

USDA guidelines require that crops and products certified organic must start in farming practices.  This means that the soil where organic hemp is grown must:

  • Not be treated with any organic-prohibited substances, such as certain pesticides for three years prior to growing
  • Not be exposed to any synthetic additives in the soil to enhance growth processes
  • Go through crop rotations and natural ground tilling
  • Only be treated with naturally sourced fertilizer

Additionally, any form of genetic engineering is strictly prohibited.  This means that the plant cannot be grown with seeds that have been genetically modified.

Now, understand that the USDA organic designation is relatively new to the world of CBD products and it is only because of the 2018 Farm Bill that CBD-grade hemp now can feature an organic designation.  This, in turn, means that companies that manufacture organic CBD oil, like Asé Pure Naturals, must meet very high federal standards and ensure the hemp plant itself is grown in accordance with the tenets of the U.S. Domestic Hemp Production Program.

The Potential Benefits of Organic CBD

Here at Asé Pure Naturals, we believe in the benefits of all facets of organic living. As such, we have formed a close relationship with a Colorado-based organic farm to ensure the most exacting standards are met in all of our products. And the potential benefits of our organic CBD oil tinctures and soft gels may include:

  • Improved focus, sleep, feelings of calm, and relaxation
  • Reduction in anxiety, chronic pain, depression, stress, headaches, and more
  • Treatment of physical ailments like skin issues

Of course, organic CBD oil effects each person differently, so it is important to get your dosage right in order to experience the potential benefits. We invite you to explore the Asé Pure Naturals website today at asepurenaturals.com to learn all about our products as well as our farming and manufacturing processes, which are 100% organic and non-toxic.  We are committed to helping you feel your healthiest and live your best life.

What Are Flavonoids and Cannaflavins?

10/9/2020

Bowls filled with flavonoid-rich foods such as fruits and berries.Eating flavonoid-rich foods such as fruits and berries can offer amazing health benefits!

Are you interested in learning more about Cannaflavins and flavonoids? Then you’ve come to the right place!

Cannabis is one of the most popular natural products being researched right now, and one of the most exciting areas that scientists are researching is cannaflavins and flavonoids.

One research group recently traced the origins of both Cannaflavin A and Cannaflavin B so that they could be metabolically engineered and researched. Scientists are excited because both cannaflavins are potent antioxidants.

If we’ve lost you already don’t worry, because we’re going to explain what these exciting natural compounds are right now!

What Are Flavonoids?

Flavonoids aren’t just something that’s found in cannabis. They’re also found in plants, fruits, flowers, and vegetables and give them their vibrant and rich colors. The vivid colors help to attract birds, bees, and also butterflies. There are thousands of different flavonoids, and dietary flavonoids are present in various foods and drinks, including cocoa, wine, blueberries, apples, spinach, and even cannabis.

So, what’s so great about flavonoids? According to a variety of different studies done on animals, flavonoids could potentially reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. Flavonoids are packed full of anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, anti-mutagenic, and anti-carcinogenic properties that all assist our immune system.

The Therapeutic Effects of Flavonoids

A variety of different studies have looked at benefits which flavonoids in cannabis could potentially offer us. Studies and research suggest that flavonoids in cannabis could offer us a variety of different therapeutical benefits.

Below are some of the most abundant flavonoids that can be found in cannabis:

  • Cannaflavin-A, -B, & -C – Anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, antioxidant, and anticancer.
  • Quercetin – Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, cardio-protective, and cancer-fighting immunoprotective, and eases skin irritation (topical use).
  • Isovitexin – Antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-hyperalgesia, and neuroprotective.
  • Apigenin – Anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer.
  • Beta-Sitosterol – Anti-inflammatory.
  • Luteolin – Anti-oxidative, tumor-fighting, and anti-inflammatory.
  • Orientin – Antioxidant, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, and neuroprotective.
  • Catechins – Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-proliferative, cardio-protective, and helps lower cholesterol.
  • Vitexin – Antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-hyperalgesia, and neuroprotective.

It’s essential that we note here that, like many of the compounds found in cannabis, flavonoids are non-psychotropic. What does that mean? It means that they aren’t going to get you high, and they have no hallucinogenic properties. Like CBD, one of the most abundant cannabinoids in cannabis, researchers believe that flavonoids could reduce the effects of THC, the cannabinoid responsible for the ‘euphoric high’ that people experience when they consume THC.

Like terpenes and other cannabinoids, experts believe that flavonoids could contribute to the Entourage Effect. The Entourage Effect is used to describe how many compounds in cannabis work together synergistically to boost the therapeutic properties of cannabis. It’s because of the Entourage Effect that many people believe full-spectrum cannabis products are superior to isolate cannabis products.

Cannabis Flavonoids Conclusion

We still have a lot to learn about flavonoids and the other compounds found in the cannabis plant, and more research is required before we can make any definitive claims.

A man and woman embracing in the nude as they experiment with CBD and sex.CBD has dozens of beneficial uses, your bedroom included...

CBD has a lot of uses, and you might be surprised to learn that many of them could benefit your sex life!

We’re seeing more and more uses for this natural and versatile compound, but did you know that there are a variety of different ways that you can incorporate CBD into your love life? Scientists around the world are rushing to discover more about CBD, and we’re discovering some of its secrets every day, but in the following article, we’re looking at ways to successfully incorporate CBD into your love life!

Four different ways to easily incorporate CBD into your sex life:

1. Improving Your Desire

There are a variety of different ways that you can incorporate CBD into your sex life. In fact, its versatility is what makes CBD so attractive to so many people. You can take CBD oils, tinctures, vape liquids, fresh CBD flower, and edibles. Many people believe that CBD can assist in improving arousal and desire. When you apply CBD creams, it can dilate the blood vessels, which allows more oxygenated blood to flow. Fresh oxygenated blood is generally associated with increased stimulation and arousal.

2. CBD Can Assist With Pain

For many people, sex is associated with not only pleasure but pain. Painful sex, also known as Dyspareunia, can make any sexual activities more of a chore than something enjoyable. CBD can help with inflammation, and studies have shown that it is a potent natural anti-inflammatory reducing the pain that many people experience when having sex. You could try topical CBD creams, whole-plant extracts, or even CBD lubricant to assist during sexual intercourse.

3. Reduce Anxiety Associated With Sex

For some people, sexual intercourse comes naturally, but for many others, it can invoke feelings of anxiety and stress. CBD interacts with the Endocannabinoid System (ECS), helping to make people feel more relaxed and less stressed. Less stress means less chance of developing anxiety. Several studies have shown that CBD could potentially be a powerful natural anti-anxiety medication. Taking CBD before sex could help to calm your nerves and make your next sexual encounter more enjoyable and less stressful.

4. Heighten Sensations During Sex

Cannabinoid receptors are located throughout the body, including the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, vagina, and vulva, and they all play a significant role in the pleasure experienced during sex. As we mentioned above, CBD can increase blood flow and also nerve sensation, making the act of lovemaking more enjoyable for both women and men through more powerful orgasms.

CBD and Why Taste Matters!

8/18/2020

A young woman placing CBD droplets into her mouth on a sunny day.Great taste is an important part of CBD's overall experience.

What’s so essential about taste, and what role does it play in the CBD that you choose?

Have you ever tried a CBD oil and almost instantly wondered what was wrong with it? There are some genuinely bitter and terrible tasting CBD products available online. Many companies will tell you that CBD naturally tastes awful, bitter, and earthy, but it doesn’t have to. For many people, their first taste of some CBD products is enough to turn them off forever, but we're here to set the record straight on the taste of CBD.

Does all CBD taste bitter and earthy?

As a natural product, the fewer additives you introduce into CBD, the better it is. However, many natural CBD oils and tinctures come with a very bitter taste that’s unpleasant on your palate.

Read a few different reviews online, and you’re going to see a general pattern of people finding the natural taste of CBD as earthy, bitter, and hard to swallow.

There is a balance between natural and nasty, and finding that balance is the job of all CBD companies. Some companies would rather sell bulk amounts of CBD products rather than try to refine the taste and market something that’s not only beneficial but also tastes great in the process.

CBD is growing globally, but taste plays a huge part in its expansion!

There is no denying that the popularity of CBD is growing around the world. It’s hard not to notice something that’s being incorporated into just about every product that you can imagine, including drinks, foods, health supplements, skin, and beauty products, and so much more.

Everywhere that you turn, people are talking about CBD, but how far is that going to go if people try it for the first time, and it tastes terrible? Regardless of its potential health benefits, there’s only so far people will go if it tastes disgusting every time that they try to swallow it.

How are our CBD products different?

We have invested a lot of time and money into developing a CBD product that not only delivers what it promises but also tastes great. If you dread taking CBD every day, what’s the point? We have developed a wide variety of different CBD products with a strong focus not only on quality but also on taste and consistency. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy the potential benefits of CBD without having to worry about a horrible experience every time that they put some in their mouth.

CBD and taste conclusion

If you would like to learn more about our range of high-quality CBD products, then don’t hesitate to reach out and contact us for more information. You can also visit asepurenaturals.com to check out all of our high-quality, great tasting CBD tinctures.

We invest a lot of our time and energy into producing premium CBD products using the finest CBD sourced from environmentally friendly hemp plants. CBD and Your Pets!

7/28/2020

A man holding a CBD dog treat in the palm of his hand.CBD can be great for humans as well as man's best friend.

CBD is exploding in popularity around the world, but did you know that pets can use CBD too?

All around the world, people are getting excited about cannabidiol (CBD) and the potential benefits it may offer. This versatile natural product is available in a variety of different forms and can easily be incorporated into your daily life. What’s genuinely exciting about CBD is that it could benefit our pets too! In the following article, we’re going to take a closer look at CBD and how our furry friends may benefit from this cannabinoid.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) is a cannabinoid found in the hemp plant. There are approximately 113 different cannabinoids in hemp and marijuana, each with unique properties, but the two most abundant are CBD and THC. CBD, unlike THC, won’t get you or your pet high. It has no psychotropic properties. Scientists are only just scratching the surface when it comes to understanding the benefits that different cannabinoids may offer us and our pets.

How can our pets use CBD?

Inside everyone and most animals, including cats and dogs, is something known as the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS is responsible for maintaining homeostasis (balance and harmony) throughout the body and is made up of a series of receptors that are all linked together.

Our bodies naturally produce endocannabinoids such as anandamide and 2-AG that interact with the CB1 and CB2 receptors in the ECS. Cannabinoids can also interact with the same receptors. It’s almost as if our bodies were designed to use cannabinoids!

As our pets age, mobility issues start to become a massive concern for many pet owners. Arthritis and other joint conditions make it harder and harder for cats and dogs to get around. Studies have shown that CBD is a potent natural anti-inflammatory. Regular doses of CBD could help with the swelling associated with aging joints and muscles.

Another exciting use of CBD is assistance in dealing with stress. CBD can help with relaxation, so it makes sense that it would help with stress, which causes anxiety. Pets commonly suffer several different types of anxiety, situational, and separation. It’s hard to help them, but CBD could assist in calming them down when you’re not home or during thunderstorms and other loud events such as fireworks. Several studies have shown that CBD could potentially be a natural aid for stress and anxiety in our pets.

Our pets and CBD conclusion!

Unfortunately, our pets can’t tell us when something is wrong, and it makes it increasingly difficult to help them as they age. Pharmaceutical options for pets often leave them lethargic and dizzy, but CBD is all-natural. It has very few negative side-effects, but if your pet is currently on any medication, you should speak with a veterinarian before trying CBD.

If you have tried CBD with your pet and experienced any positive results, we’d love you to share your story below with other pet owners. Anecdotal evidence from pet owners around the world suggests that CBD could be extremely beneficial. If you have any questions about CBD or would like to find out how you can purchase CBD for yourself, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.

There’s nothing worse than when that time of the month rolls in to ruin your mood and your day. When your menstrual cycle hits, it can play havoc with your hormones and your personal and professional lives. For many women, it’s that thing that they dread most every month.

For some women, their menstrual cycle or period is regular and mild. It comes and goes every month without a lot of fuss or trouble, but this isn’t the same for everyone. Over 90% of women experience painful periods known as dysmenorrhea. Pain can spread from the lower back, thighs, and stomach. Pain can be felt as mild in some cases to severe in extreme circumstances.

While there are a variety of different pharmaceutical pain management options available, the last thing many women want is to pump themselves full of chemicals. Not to mention the negative side-effects of many opioid-based pain medications such as addiction, constipation, nausea, and drowsiness.

The good news is that there could be a natural solution to help with your next menstrual cycle and it’s Cannabidiol (CBD).

How could CBD help with your menstrual cycle?

CBD has a variety of different benefits, and scientists are still unlocking more and more benefits of this natural compound every day. There have been a variety of various studies into CBD and its effects, many of which could assist with your menstrual cycle.

Several studies have shown that CBD can be useful for reducing inflammation, and its anti-inflammatory properties are just the beginning. When the body is sore or injured, it floods the area with inflammatory compounds, which cause the affected area to swell while it heals. The faster the inflammation is reduced, the quicker the body recovers. Often during the menstrual cycle, your abdomen feels swollen and inflamed, and CBD could potentially reduce that swelling, easing pain and making you feel more comfortable.

One of the traditional remedies for period pain is Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs). NSAIDs work by inhibiting the enzyme that’s responsible for producing prostaglandins (COX-2) that contribute to contractions, inflammation, and pain. The problem with NSAIDs is that they come with a list of negative side-effects, including gastrointestinal issues.

However, scientists may have unlocked a better solution than NSAIDs. CBD also inhibits the prostaglandin-enzyme, but it doesn’t appear to have the same negative side-effects as NSAIDs.

CBD and your menstrual cycle

Dreading that time of the month can play a massive part in how much stress you experience. It can have a variety of adverse flow-on effects into both your personal and professional lives as well as impacting your relationships. Finding a natural solution to painful periods could change your life and the way you live for the better. If you have used CBD to assist with your menstrual cycle and would like to share your story with others, please don’t hesitate to comment below.

We hope CBD use helps turn that time of the month into a slightly less stressful time of the month. And if you'd like to learn more about our very own full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD tinctures made with no compromises, feel free to swing by our sister site, asepurenaturals.com.

Why You Will Never Find Good CBD On Amazon

5/5/2020

An Amazon warehouse with a clear blue sky in the background. Many large online retailers offer varying forms of "CBD...

If you’re looking for high-quality CBD products on Amazon, you’re wasting your time and your money!

I know what you’re thinking, if I went onto Amazon right now and searched for ‘CBD products’ there’s going to be hundreds of different products that pop up in the search results. You’d be right. There would be hundreds of different products appear, and all of them would be carefully worded product descriptions about the natural benefits of hemp, etc... Still, there’s one important thing that you’ll notice. None of them claim to contain any specific amounts of CBD.

Strange? Indeed. Part of Amazon’s strict advertising policy for their sellers prohibits them from listing any substances which could be considered a narcotic. Nor are you allowed to make specific health claims about CBD. You can’t talk about CBD, you can’t mention CBD, and you definitely can’t make any claims about CBD.

While you’re probably thinking okay, well, instead, you could say hemp extract, which is okay by the way and continue to sell the CBD products, everything is going to be okay. For legitimate companies, this is what they’re doing, but it’s also where all the problems begin.

Unfortunately, not everyone has the consumer's best interests at heart. Hemp oil or hemp extract has been around for decades and is widely used as a health supplement. It’s relatively cheap to make and has been used in a variety of different general health products.

Getting CBD, on the other hand, involves an expensive and complicated extraction process. It’s because of this that CBD products are a lot more expensive than hemp products.

There’s one big difference between hemp extract or hemp oil and CBD oil. Hemp oils or extracts don’t contain any CBD. None at all.

Fortunately, you can purchase premium CBD products through companies such as Asé Pure Naturals. They have a full range of high-quality CBD products available on their website.

CBD products specifically contain cannabidiol (CBD), one of the active cannabinoids found in both the hemp and marijuana plant. Legitimate CBD products will contain a specific amount of CBD listed as an MG measurement. Many legitimate CBD products are also backed up with laboratory reports which tell you how much CBD is in the product, that it’s free from toxins, heavy metals, and also pesticides.

Unfortunately, dishonest companies are using this loophole on Amazon to imply that their hemp extract products contain CBD and increasing their profits. This dishonest practice is extremely hard to police and has led to many customers trying what they believed to be CBD only to end up disappointed with the results.

Conclusion

It’s important to understand what it is that you’re using and what you’re spending your hard-earned money on. Legitimate CBD companies not only stand behind the quality of their product, but they are also not afraid to educate consumers about CBD and the potential that CBD has. If you’re interested in trying CBD products for yourself, steer clear of sites such as Amazon and stick with legitimate CBD companies such as www.asepurenaturals.com.

What Is CBG?

4/16/2020

A Bottle of Premium Hemp-Extract Oil with CBG Sits Atop a Sunny Table.CBG Is Gaining In Popularity As CBD Has.

Could This Lesser-Known Cannabinoid Be The Most Powerful of Them All?

Many people are aware of what CBD and THC are, but do you know about CBG and what its benefits are? There are over 113 cannabinoids that are found in both the marijuana and hemp plants, and each one has its own unique properties, but in this article, we’re going to take a look at Cannabigerol (CBG).

Let’s take a look at what CBG is and what some of the potential benefits of CBG could be!

What Is CBG?

Cannabigerol (CBG), like Cannabidiol (CBD), is non-psychotropic and not as abundant as CBD or THC but does have a lot of potential therapeutic properties. A variety of different studies and research have shown that CBG could potentially assist with the growth of new brain cells, relieve pain, and reduce inflammation.

Despite CBG being less prevalent than the more well-known cannabinoids such as CBD and THC, CBG is showing a lot of potential and could be one of the most powerful cannabinoids of them all. CBG begins life in an acidic form, Cannabigerolic Acid (CBGA), which, when transformed into a neutral form, becomes CBG.

What are some of the potential benefits of CBG?

CBG is showing a lot of potential health benefits. However, like many studies and research into cannabinoids, it’s still early days for CBG. Let’s take a look at what some of the studies and research into CBG is showing and how CBG could potentially help a variety of different conditions.

  • CBG for Pain Relief – Cannabis is well-known for its pain-relieving properties, with as much as 97% of patients using it specifically for pain relief. Many people associate THC with pain relief, but studies into CBG and CBGA have shown that they could be more effective than CBD and THC at relieving pain.
  • CBG as an Anti-Inflammatory – Like most cannabinoids, CBG and CBGA are showing a lot of potential for inflammatory conditions such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). A study conducted into CBG and IBD using mice found that giving the mice CBG helped to reduce the inflammation associated with IBD.
  • CBG for Brain Health – There have been several promising studies into CBG related to brain inflammation and neurogenesis. It’s because of these studies that so many people are looking to take CBG is its ability to help reduce inflammation in the brain while also promoting neurogenesis, which is the growth of new brain cells.

CBG Conclusion

While the potential health benefits of CBG are very promising, we have only just started to touch on them here, more research and studies need to be conducted before we can prove definitively how much potential CBG truly has.

If you suffer from any of the conditions that we have talked about above, then CBG could be beneficial for you. Because CBG isn’t as prevalent as other cannabinoids in hemp and marijuana plants, cultivators are trying to breed plants that are higher in CBG.

Like many of the other cannabinoids, CBG could be the key to unlocking the treatment for a variety of different conditions, but only time will tell. What we can say for sure is that CBG has a lot of potential, and you’re going to hear a lot about CBG in the future as more research and studies are conducted.

Asé Pure Naturals CBD and Coronavirus Preparedness: What You Need to Know

3/25/2020

A sign reading, Turbulent Times Like These Are When Premium CBD Oil Helps The Most.

You may have many questions right now regarding taking CBD during the Coronavirus pandemic. Whether or not CBD products are currently safe to use or if you have it to make any changes to your CBD intake. So we thought we'd put together a quick blog post highlighting some tips we would like to share with you regarding CBD oil and COVID-19, while providing you with some reassurance on what Asé Pure Naturals is doing on our end to ensure everyone’s safety.

Firstly, and most importantly, we urge all CBD users out there to not decrease or cut their CBD use unless it's necessary. Some CBD users might be under the impression that reducing their CBD intake during this time might be a way to cut down on ancillary costs, but with stress and anxiety levels running as high as they are right now, your CBD oil should be the last thing you eliminate from your daily lives. (If it comes down to CBD oil or toilet paper, we pick CBD oil.)

The COVID-19 outbreak is not only having an impact on people's physical health, but it is also affecting millions more psychologically, the impacts of which will be felt for years to come. That's why we feel it's imperative that people not only continue to utilize CBD products during this time but perhaps even increase their CBD usage during these trying times. Just remember to be mindful of how much you're taking. One of our previous blog posts is titled, “Mindful Consumption: Tips on How to Enjoy CBD To the Fullest” and goes more in-depth regarding some of the do’s and don’ts of CBD usage, quantity, frequency, etc.

Be systematic in your increases and decreases and try to increase your intake steadily and gradually so that you have enough time to gauge how your most recent CBD volume change is impacting your mind and body.

Although the Coronavirus is a physical ailment, and more specifically, and respiratory infection, it’s becoming evident that the psychological toll of the virus is just as threatening.

The CDC recently published a great article that’s full of information and tips concerning mental health and the Coronavirus. Just a few of their suggestions include the following:

  • Take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to news stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting.
  • Take care of your body. Take deep breaths, stretch, or meditate. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals, exercise regularly, get plenty of sleep, and avoid alcohol and drugs.
  • Make time to unwind. Try to do some other activities you enjoy.
  • Connect with others. Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling.

It’s a relatively lengthy post with something for everybody, including parents and first responders. If you’d like to read this article in its entirety, visit Manage Anxiety & Stress - Centers For Disease Control.

As far as CBD product safety is concerned, Asé Pure Naturals premium CBD oil is always produced with hemp grown in the United States. Additionally, we're keeping our eyes and ears peeled for news and updates coming from the CDC as well as the WHO so that we can keep ourselves in the loop regarding the latest news as far as Coronavirus is concerned. Our customers are our top priority. After all, that's why we started a CBD oil company in the first place. We are currently open and available in case you have any questions, comments, or concerns regarding Asé Pure Naturals CBD oil tinctures.

Additionally, our customers can rest assured we are being very diligent regarding the way in which we're handling bottles, packaging, and shipping. We are accomplishing this with frequent disinfection using CDC recommended cleaning products and wearing gloves when handling bottles and packaging supplies.

As a side note, because we completely understand the financial constraints the Coronavirus is having on consumers worldwide, we have introduced discounted pricing that will last during the duration of this outbreak to help make sure as many people as possible can have access to premium CBD oil made with no compromises. We will be offering significant discounts on our full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD oil tinctures as well as free shipping in the United States regardless of order size or quantity.

CBD oil can be a very important tool in managing stress and anxiety during a pandemic and we're doing everything we can on our end to help facilitate this.

It doesn’t just end with your CBD intake. CBD oil is just part of a healthy, balanced life. In the face of a global pandemic, it becomes more difficult to achieve this balance, but not impossible. In-home exercises, breathing exercises, meditation, a healthy diet, limited alcohol intake, immune system boosting foods and beverages, and consistent use of CBD, can all combine to have a significant impact on both physical and mental health during such turbulent times. CBD oil can complement these habits, but it’s not a complete replacement for them.

For the latest news and updates regarding our CBD products, please visit asépurenaturals.com/cbd-education and scroll down to sign up for our newsletter. We don’t send communications often, so you don’t have to worry about us clogging up your inbox, but when we do, you’ll be the first to know about new Asé Pure Naturals news, products, and special offers.

As we all collectively continue to learn more about the dangers and severity of the Coronavirus outbreak, we should also be consciously reminding ourselves to be the best versions of ourselves we can be. Extra sweet, extra polite, extra courteous, especially to the elderly or those with underlying health conditions, while doing our best to limit social interactions whenever possible, and slow the spread of the disease so that medical establishments can better manage the influx of phone calls, visitors, and patients.

We accomplish marvelous things when we unite to work together toward a single, common objective. Until next time, be safe, be healthy, and spread joy.

Best,

The Asé Difference – 12 Reasons Why Asé Pure Naturals CBD Is The Right Choice

3/18/2020

Premium CBD Oil bottles next to a swimming pool.Premium CBD Oil Tinctures Made with No Compromises!

If you've tried to shop for CBD products online, then you've certainly noticed the endless array of choices a CBD consumer has these days. Hundreds of CBD tinctures as well as other forms of CBD that can be purchased such as pills, gummies, and creams.

But how does even a savvy consumer differentiate the products from one another and choose a CBD tincture that's not only effective and great tasting but also contains everything it promises without having any mystery ingredients in it?

We’ll be the first ones to admit that such CBD tinctures are few and far in between, but the good news is that you've come to the right place in having discovered the Asé Pure Naturals CBD blog and digital storefront.

We've spent many months prior to the launch of our products perfecting all those elements and more, striving to create a CBD tincture that checks off all the necessary boxes and then some. Below you will find a list that we've created for you containing a dozen things to look for when shopping for a bottle of CBD.

It's by no means a complete list but covers many of the essential attributes that is CBD bottle should have and more importantly, can be found in Asé Pure Naturals CBD tinctures. Some CBD bottles will have some of these attributes and some won't have any at all, but we're proud to say that our full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD tinctures contain all the following. In no particular order:

100% Natural

Our CBD tinctures contain no artificial ingredients. Many sub-par CBD products will be filled with additives, preservatives, synthetic chemicals, and just about anything a questionable CBD manufacturer can find to dilute their product and increase their profits.

There have even been reports in the past of individuals having adverse health reactions after taking a 'CBD product'. Hemp-extract supplements in general are newer to the market they can at times be less scrutinized or regulated than other supplements. Therefore, it's very important to make sure the CBD product you're considering purchasing comes from a reputable source and abides by the principles listed on this very awesome checklist.

Gluten Free

We know how important it is for people with gluten intolerance or gluten sensitivity to steer clear of products containing gluten. Bearing this important dietary restriction in mind, we are happy to announce that our CBD tinctures are gluten-free.

Third Party Lab Tested

One of the best ways to ensure the CBD product you're about to purchase is legitimate is by reading an analysis report on the product created by an independent but reputable third-party lab. You'd be surprised how many CBD manufacturers do not provide this type of information to their consumers or perhaps even more importantly, how many consumers purchase CBD products without ever bothering to research what the actual contents of the bottle or product are comprised of.

This is what allows questionable manufacturers to get away with putting things inside their CBD products that simply don't belong there, for no reason other than to cut down on manufacturing costs and increase profits.

Asé Pure Naturals CBD products have two different analyses performed on them that you can download and review from our website asepurenaturals.com at any time in PDF format.

This is important for many reasons but mainly because you will be able to rest assured knowing the actual quantity of CBD on the label is present in the bottle, meaning that you're actually buying the amount of CBD that you're paying for, and that the bottle has not been mislabeled in yet another attempt to cheat the consumer. And also, that the other contents of the bottle align with what's listed on its label.

Organically Grown Hemp

To make the best CBD possible you must start with the best hemp possible, which is why we use organic hemp that is grown on a farm in sunny Colorado, one of the current meccas of the hemp industry.

Cruelty Free

We do not test our products on animals. We never have and we never will. Many of us at Asé Pure Naturals are quite fond of animals and although we sometimes provide our canines with their own pet CBD that is specially formulated for dogs, no animals were harmed in the making of this CBD blog post.

Vegan

If staying clear of dairy or animals in your diet is of great importance to you then you will be happy to know that our products are also vegan.

Non-GMO

There are a lot of questions out there regarding the safety and impact of foods and products made with genetically modified elements. Especially when it comes to the long-term effects of ingesting genetically modified material. Asé Pure Naturals CBD tinctures are non-GMO for this reason.

GMP Certified Facility

The acronym stands for Good Manufacturing Practices and to be a current GMP certified facility means that the manufacturer has demonstrated a strong regulatory commitment and compliance to international manufacturing standards. Our CBD products are bottled in a GMP certified facility, yet another step Asé Pure Naturals has taken to ensure its products are of the highest standards possible.

QR Code Enabled

You will find a QR code on the bottles of Asé Pure Naturals CBD products. By scanning this QR code you can instantly access our third-party lab test results. We believe that if a CBD manufacturer is producing CBD products with a consumer-first approach as opposed to putting profits first, then there should be no reason why they wouldn't provide you with direct and immediate access to their product quality reports.

You will also sometimes find CBD products that have broken or missing QR code data, meaning that the bottle contains a QR Code, but no additional information is provided upon scanning it.

With Asé Pure Naturals CBD products you can scan one of our CBD bottles and instantly review the bottle's contents via third-party lab test analysis.

Made From Hemp Grown In The USA

To some consumers it is important to know that the products they are considering purchasing are sourced in the United States because other countries have varying laws that might not be in accordance with American consumer standards which will then in turn result in dangerous chemicals or ingredients being incorporated into that country’s products.

We totally understand the importance of not only making sure the products you're purchasing are safe but also supporting a more localized, domestic economy. For this reason, our CBD tinctures are made from hemp grown in the United States.

CO2 Extraction

You will sometimes hear of CBD products that contain residual solvents or alcohol. One of the main ways to avoid having these types of byproducts make their way into your CBD tincture is to only purchase CBD made using a CO2 extraction method.

Some CBD makers use chemical solvents such as butane or hexane instead of CO2 to extract CBD. Not only does this impact the valuable terpenes that are found in CBD products, but this is a surefire way to have harmful residues make their way into your CBD product.

CO2 extraction is the food and supplement industry standard method of extraction. If you’ve ever had a cup of decaf coffee, it was CO2 that was used to remove the caffeine. This process also kills harmful bacteria and ensures more terpenes and cannabinoids end up in the final CBD product.

(We've highlighted this and all these components of Asé Pure Naturals CBD tinctures to let all of our customers know that we will always use the safest manufacturing approach regardless of the costs associated with it.)

Hemp Industries Association Member

Asé Pure Naturals was founded by genuine CBD enthusiasts. Every day we learn, study, and read about CBD and the cannabis industry in general. We attend seminars, trade shows, and training events to learn as much as we possibly can about this industry so that we can provide our friends, family, partners, and customers with the best CBD products money can buy. We are proud members of the Hemp Industries Association, the foremost governing association regarding hemp and hemp products in the United States.

When quality, efficacy, health, and safety are of the utmost importance, there's Asé Pure Naturals full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD tinctures. Premium CBD products made with no compromises!

We hope this list we've put together for you today has shed some more light on how much thought, work, and effort truly goes into producing a premium CBD tincture. Soon we hope to expand our product offering to include even more wonderful CBD products for all to enjoy.

In the meanwhile, please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions about our CBD tinctures that wasn't covered in this article.

Cheers, and please feel free to check asepurenaturals.blog as well as asepurenaturals.com often for updates, promotions, and new products for you and your loved ones. All the best,

6 Ways to Incorporate CBD Into Your Healthy Action Plan

3/3/2020

Slender woman making a post-workout shake with CBD oil.CBD oil can be incorporated into your life many ways, including during meals, after workouts, or before sleep.

Most of us would agree that our lives could be healthier. That we could be going for more walks, spending more time in the gym, or paying closer attention to what we’re eating and drinking. Modern day living in the digital age is quick-paced, and with so many obligations and distractions to deal with daily, it’s easy to forget to take that multi-vitamin, fiber supplement, or protein snack.

At almost every corner of our day-to-day lives, is an opportunity to enhance our health and wellness with better choices, as well as CBD products. In this blog post, we’ll touch upon some of our favorite ways to use CBD to enhance our health goals.

The Day to Day

One of the best reasons to incorporate CBD into your life is for nothing more than everyday stressors and anxiety.
According to healthline.com, “For generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) says that CBD has been shown to reduce stress in animals such as rats. Study subjects were observed as having lower behavioral signs of anxiety. Their physiological symptoms of anxiety, such as increased heart rate, also improved.”

CBD can be taken at any time of the day, and there are a plethora of ways CBD can be taken these days, including CBD tinctures, gummies, and creams.

Big Events

CBD can be extra useful when you anticipate a stressful or anxiety-inducing event. Maybe you have to pick up your in-laws from the airport later. Perhaps you have a job interview at a company you’ve been trying to work at for months. A first date. Breaking tough news.

There’s an endless array of both preplanned as well as spur-of-the-moment life stressors that can arise in your schedule, and CBD can help minimize the anxiety associated with those life events.

Diet

Your daily meals and beverages are an excellent opportunity to take CBD oil. Whether you incorporate your CBD into your favorite meals, drinks, and snacks, or simply use your food and beverage intake time to serve as a reminder to take your CBD as a stand-alone product, meal time is one of the best times to get your CBD.

Cooking with CBD oil is growing in popularity. Just be sure to take your CBD with healthy fats to maximize absorption and efficacy.

Sleep

Studies suggest CBD products can help users with both falling and staying asleep. If you suffer from insomnia, that in and of itself can be a source of stress in your life, which CBD can help combat.

One of our favorite times to take CBD is right before bed. Not only will it help you remember to take it if it’s part of it your bedtime routine, but a minty CBD oil can even help freshen your breath right before you tuck yourself in.

If quality, consistent rest is high on your priorities list (and we can’t imagine why it wouldn’t be?) taking CBD oil daily can help you establish a solid and steady sleeping routine.

Travel

Our most recent CBD blog post before this one is all about CBD and Travel. It’s titled CBD: One of Traveling’s Best Friends if you’d like to read more about incorporating CBD into your travel. But vacation time is a great time for you and CBD. You’re already preparing your headspace to break away from the norm, get away from your day-to-day, and enjoy a few days or weeks of much needed rest and relaxation.

Some people have a very difficult time disconnecting from their responsibilities, finance, etc., and for all the things that can adversely affect your highly anticipated getaway, CBD can help put those sun-kissed-tan roadblocks on the backburner, where they belong!

Exercise

With more and more information coming available regarding CBD’s anti-inflammatory properties, many health-conscious people and even athletes are incorporate CBD products into their fitness regimen. Sore, achy muscles are a common after effect of certain types of physical training.

Additionally, others may suffer from pain and discomfort during or after physical activity due to past injury, age, or underlying health conditions. CBD may even help those in that camp complete their exercise routine in the first place, before worrying about their recovery period.

Either way, as more studies are performed specifically regarding CBD and exercise, more information will be available, but it seems as though there are already a few valid reasons for combining CBD oil with physical fitness.

Pair your favorite CBD oil tincture with that post-work out smoothie for a supercharged and well deserved recovery shake.

Looking Forward to More

We’re sure there are plenty of other situations or activities CBD oil can help with, but these are some of the most integral elements that come to our minds.

CBD’s application continues to expand, as we learn more about the fantastic cannabinoids and terpenes that are present in the cannabis plant.

We look forward to the day when CBD becomes synonymous with medical use, treatment, prescription, etc.

It’s already present in Epidiolex, an FDA-approved drug used to treat seizures associated with Lennox-Gastaut syndrome or Dravet syndrome in patients 2 years old or older, and we’re sure that with more time and research, CBD’s presence will continue to become more commonplace.

Until the end of this month, our Full-Spectrum and Broad-Spectrum CBD tincture launch special promo is still valid, so if you’re in the market for a premium CBD tincture with no compromises, use promo code LAUNCHPARTY15 at checkout on asepurenaturals.com/s/shop to receive 15% OFF your entire order as well as Free Shipping.
